PENDIDIKAN DI MASA PANDEMI (Tinjauan Implikasi dan Konsekuensi Mutu Pendidikan)
Terganggunya proses pembelajaran akibat wabah pandemi dapat menyebabkan terjadinya penurunan kualitas sumber daya manusia ke depan baik dalam aspek kognitif, afektif dan konatif. Untuk itu diperlukan upaya dari berbagai pihak terutama pemerintah agar proses pembelajaran dapat berjalan efektif sekalipun di tengah pandemi covid 19. Proses kegiatan belajar mengajar harus tetap berjalan dan peserta didik jangan kehilangan haknya dalam belajar. Sekolah sebagai lembaga penyelenggara pendidikan harus cepat tanggap terhadap fenomena wabah covid 19 dengan senantiasa berupaya agar proses pembelajaran dapat terlaksana secara efektif. Sekolah secara keseluruhan adalah media interaksi antar siswa dan guru untuk meningkatkan kemampuan intelegensi, skill dan rasa kasih sayang diantara mereka.
Pemerintah dalam hal ini mengeluarkan keputusan bersama menteri pendidikan dan kebudayaan, menteri agama, menteri kesehatan dan menteri dalam negeri Republik Indonesia telah menetapkan kebijakan pendidikan di tengah pandemi dengan mengeluarkan surat edaran nomor 03 / KB /2021, nomor 384 tahun 2021, nomor HK-01-09 / MENKES / 4242 / 2021 dan nomor 440-717 tahun 2021 tentang panduan penyelenggaraan pembelajaran dimasa pandemi Corona Virus Desease (Covid 19). Dalam rangka pemenuhan hak peserta didik untuk mendapatkan layanan pendidikan selama darurat penyebaran virus corona maka penyelenggaran pendidikan dilakukan melalui program tatap muka belajar terbatas dengan tetap menetapkan protokol kesehatan dan itu pun berlaku bagi daerah yang berada pada level 3 dan 2 atau program pembelajaran jarak jauh (PJJ) bagi daerah yang berada pada level 4.
Pemerintah memfasilitasi pembelajaran daring saat ini dengan menyediakan media teknologi yang dapat mendukung pembelajaran secara online. Misalnya, aplikasi Zoom, Google Meet, YouTube dan aplikasi lainnya yang dapat menunjang pembelajaran saat ini. Pembelajaran secara daring membuat tenaga pendidik memiliki inovasi dan kreativitas dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran. Pro dan Kontra mengenai sistem pembelajaran daring ini, ada beberapa orang tua yang tidak setuju dengan adanya pembelajaran melalui media sosial karena dianggap tidak efektif, dan ada juga orang tua yang setuju dengan adanya sistem pembelajaran daring karena untuk menghindari kontak langsung dengan orang lain dimasa pandemi ini. Ada tiga dampak negatif terhadap siswa:
- Ancaman putus sekolah
Anak harus bekerja: Risiko putus sekolah dikarenakan anak “terpaksa”
bekerja untuk membantu keuangan keluarga di tengah krisis pandemi
Covid-19. Persepsi orang tua: Banyak orang tua yang tidak bisa melihat
peranan sekolah dalam proses belajar mengajar jika proses pembelajaran
tidak dilakukan secara tatap muka.
2. Kendala tumbuh kembang Kesenjangan capaian belajar
Perbedaan akses dan kualitas selama pembelajaran jarak jauh dapat
mengakibatkan kesenjangan capaian belajar, terutama untuk anak dari sosio
ekonomi berbeda. Ketidak optimalan pertumbuhan: Turunnya
keikutsertaan dalam PAUD sehingga kehilangan tumbuh kembang yang
optimal di usia emas. Risiko ‘learning loss’: Hilangnya pembelajaran secara
berkepanjangan berisiko terhadap pembelajaran jangka panjang, baik
kognitif maupun perkembangan karakter.
3. Tekanan psikososial dan kekerasan dalam rumah tangga Anak stress
Minimnya interaksi dengan guru, teman, dan lingkungan luar ditambah
tekanan akibat sulitnya pembelajaran jarak jauh dapat menyebabkan stres
pada anak. Kekerasan yang tidak terdeteksi: Tanpa sekolah, banyak anak
yang terjebak dalam kekerasan rumah tangga tanpa terdeteksi oleh guru.
Adapun 3 dampak positif :
- Menambah wawasan dalam penggunaan teknologi
Teknologi pendidikan menciptakan cangkupan yang luas saat belajar
mandiri. Teknologi pendidikan dapat menciptakan pembelajaran tetap
berjalan baik serta mendukung pemerintah dalam upaya menjaga physical
distancing sesuai protokol kesehatan. Dampak yang dirasakan akibat
pandemi ini juga membuat pendidikan di Indonesia mulai bereksperimen
dengan menciptakan beberapa teknologi pendidikan yang menunjang
pembelajaran serta turut aktif mengikuti revolusi industri 4.0. - Banyaknya situs belajar online yang dapat di akses
Percepatan transformasi teknologi pendidikan karena pandemi Corona
membuat berbagai platform meluncurkan berbagai aplikasi belajar online
guna mendukung PJJ. Banyak munculnya aplikasi belajar online membuat
belajar dari rumah tetap dapat dilakukan dengan efektif. Aplikasi-aplikasi belajar online dikembangkan dengan penyediaan fitur-fitur yang
memudahkan dalam melakukan belajar online. - Pelajar dapat di pantau oleh orang tuanya secara langsung
Pada dasarnya setiap anak memiliki potensi yang tidak terbatas. Tetapi ada
beberapa faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi apakah mereka pada akhirnya
memenuhi potensi itu. Para ahli percaya bahwa peran orangtua dalam
kehidupan anak memiliki dampak yang luas serta dengan adanya
pengawasan dari orangtua anak akan mudah dipantau perkembanganya
secara langsung. Keterlibatan orangtua sangat penting bagi anak untuk
berprestasi di sekolah. Beberapa orangtua mungkin berpikir bahwa itu
adalah peran guru untuk mengajar, bukan peran mereka. Tetapi kepercayaan
seperti itu tidak merugikan orang tua dan anak-anak. Anak-anak tidak
memulai dan berhenti belajar hanya selama hari sekolah. Mereka selalu
terbiasa dengan belajar, di rumah, dengan teman, dan melalui pengaruh lain.
